Wordless Wednesday: Local “lodging law” keeps homeless from sleeping… period

When the local lodging law makes it impossible for homeless people to sleep... pretty much anywhere when the shelters are full.

California is said to be the state with the largest homeless population… but what they’re doing with homeless people via the wording of local lodging laws could very well be deemed a violation of their civil “right to sleep,” if not their basic human rights. Is criminalizing homelessness the right solution?
